As modern CPU are tuned to deal with 64 bits alignement, how wants a glibc compiled with -Os ???? Posix compliantness of both Glibc and Applications is a more important deal, do you realize that modern architecture don’t fly to embedded ??? I don’t want to sacrifice stability and compatibilty, so you want less bytes used by your system ??? more free ram ???? Gnome and Kde are the bloatwarez to move around, not the glibc ….
